Cheer

Children will learn choreographed dances, along with cheers and chants, helping them to develop communication skills and bond as a team. At the end of the semester, children will showcase their new skills to friends and family with a live performance.*

*Depending on social distancing guidelines in place at the end of the semester, a video link may be sent home in lieu of a live performance.

Basketball

Students will tap into their potential and learn the basics of basketball with an emphasis on strong fundamentals and teamwork. The National Basketball Academy instructors encourage healthy competition and self-esteem in a fun environment.

Karate

Through Seido karate classes, your child will gain balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Over time you will see a new sense of confidence, self-discipline, and focus emerging in your child. Kids are given positive reinforcement for their efforts and encouraged to try their best to meet new challenges. Classes are taught by 6th degree black belt Shihan Gil Alstein.

After-school Swim

Summer may be over, but maintaining and progressing swim skills is a year-round need for children in Florida. This class will review basic swim skills and strokes including freestyle and breaststroke. Children will progress through Red Cross swim levels in our heated pool.

Happy Feet™ Soccer

Beginner soccer players will get an introduction to the fundamentals of soccer, build social skills, and improve self-confidence under the instruction of a trained
Happy Feet teacher.

Dance

This class teaches the fundamentals of ballet, creative movement, and use of props. This class is a great way for the young dancer to develop control of their movements, improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age-appropriate exercises. The class will culminate in a dance performance at the end of the session.

Kids Yoga

Give your child the tools they need to live a healthy, happy life with Kids Yoga. Through stretch and strength exercises, simple meditation practice, and mindfulness training, children learn balance on their mat and in their life. Classroom themes, like gratitude and integrity, give a fun framework for breathing and yoga exercises that complement students’ age and skill level.

Grades 2-8. The world’s most beloved puppet comes to life in Once Upon a Pine: The Adventures of Pinocchio, a humorous and heartfelt adaptation of the Carlo Collodi classic. Geppetto, a lonely toymaker, longs to have a child to call his own. But he soon gets more than he bargained for when Pinocchio – a marionette carved from
an enchanted log – springs to life
before his eyes! Filled with
memorable characters
and magical adventures, Once Upon a Pine reminds audiences of the importance of love, friendship and honesty.

And that’s no lie!

Sharks Swim

Ages 6-18. This program is for beginners through advanced swimmers who want to develop competitive strokes. Youth must be able to swim one stroke for 25 meters.

Maitland Soccer

Grades K-5. Maitland Soccer Club’s goal is to coach players to be champions with character, both on and off the field, through proper instruction, training, and encouragement.  The core curriculum is coached by our staff of professionally licensed coaches where the emphasis is to develop the foundation of basic soccer technical skills, playing with teammates, and having fun.  The skills that will be taught and improved upon will include ball control, 1st touch, passing, shooting and learning the different tactics of playing soccer on a team. The program will consist of one training session per week and 8 weeks of games, where players will have the opportunity to put what they have learned into play.
